The Accelerated Climate Prediction Initiative (ACPI) Pilot Program is a Department of Energy funded demonstration project that will show "end-to-end" climate prediction capability, starting from observed ocean conditions and ending with detailed predictions of the effects of anthropogenic gases on the hydrology of the western United States.
