The Julian/Gregorian transition dates in this table have been collected from various
public domain internet sources, including a post to the usenet newsgroup
comp.lan.c by Bob Douglas at the Computing Services of the
University of Oxford, dated 21 Oct 1992.
The date given in each case is the date the Gregorian calendar was first used.
